Announcing the Topos Builders Program: Receive Funding and Learning Support to Build with Zero-Knowledge

Toposware will soon be launching the Topos Builders Program to support Solidity developers interested in building with zero knowledge to maximise their potential by using Topos, the world’s first zero-knowledge ecosystem. Topos — a new approach to the future

Toposware wants to encourage devs who see forging connections as an integral part of the digital future. The program endeavours to support those who champion trustless, inclusive, secure, and efficient connectivity as both a practice and an ideal.

Topos is designed to leverage state-of-the-art thinking on cryptography and apply it to distributed networking in order to change the way projects engage in trustless interaction. Through an infinitely scalable and flexible modular system, dApps and natively interoperable blockchains can take advantage of unparalleled security, privacy, and potential for growth. The implementation of zero-knowledge technology is at the heart of this great potential.

B9Lab has worked with Toposware to create a transformative learning experience for devs, with resources and support carefully designed to foster the establishment of a thriving and supportive community. The Topos Builders Program will feature in-depth technology guides and will launch alongside the Topos Testnet — a vast and open landscape that encourages early adopters to become pioneers in the first ZK native ecosystem.

Objectives of the Builders Program

The Toposware team is looking for developers to build zk dApps and infrastructure on their testnet and offer grants for a range of key project types, as well as inviting open applications. The program will prioritise projects that pave the way for valuable growth, and Toposware and B9Lab will join builders every step of the way to help bring visionary projects to life.

In the initial phase, the Topos Builders Program will target the following in particular:

• Collectible Games — NFT-based games allow dApp builders to experiment with blockchain technology and cultivate a dedicated audience for future projects.
• NFT Marketplaces — Artists, creators, and collectors yearn for secure platforms to buy, sell, and trade unique NFTs with confidence. ZK technology provides the ultimate in security and decentralisation.
• Decentralised Exchanges (DEXs) — crypto trading demands platforms that enable transactions without the need for intermediaries. Topos brings unmatched security, transparency, and user control over funds, safeguarding against hacks and manipulation.
• Oracles — linking the ZK ecosystem to the wider online world will bridge the gap between outsiders and insiders, increasing awareness, involvement, and adoption of Topos across the digital landscape.
• Connector Grants — Toposware wants to create opportunities for collaboration, value exchange, and composability. There is a world of collaborative possibilities to unlock.

The program is also open to innovative ideas that align with Toposware’s mission of creating seamless and secure interchain communication without relying on trust in validators. If your ideas don’t fit into one of these categories, there’s still a place for them in Topos.

Grants with Benefits

In addition to securing funding and kickstarting development journeys on the Topos Protocol, if accepted for a grant builders will receive expert support and guidance throughout the program. They will also gain access to in-depth learning resources, created by B9Lab’s team of training experts to help builders develop a greater understanding of the Topos stack, ensuring that even newcomers can contribute projects of immense value to the ecosystem.

Initiatives to come may include multiple rounds of funding for projects that wholeheartedly embrace the values championed by the Topos community. This is just the beginning of an ongoing collaboration that Toposware seeks to establish. While Solidity developers are being prioritised now, the Topos Builders Program plans to offer a highly diverse array of tools and applications in the future.
